Who Can Apply for Rently in the UAE

Rently is available to residents with a valid UAE working visa or invitation to work. Applications are reviewed individually and subject to eligibility assessment.

Estimate your monthly rent

It’s okay to estimate slightly higher. If approved, any amount below this estimate will also be eligible.

Upload documents for approval

Upload the required documents so we can review and approve your application.

You’ll need to provide proof of income, your Emirates ID, and a credit report (from AECB) so we can assess your eligibility.

Submit documents for contract

Once approved, submit the required documents to prepare the tenancy contract and payment setup.

This may include a draft tenancy agreement or Ejari, the landlord’s bank details, the agent’s contact number if applicable, and the landlord’s payment schedule.

First payment & landlord payout

Does my landlord still get paid the full rent upfront?
Yes. When you use Rently, your landlord receives the full annual rent upfront via cheques, just as they would expect in the UAE market. You can choose between one and six cheques depending on what your lease requires. Your landlord's payment experience stays exactly the same, while you repay Rently in monthly payments over the course of your lease.
What is the service fee and how is it calculated?
Rently charges a service fee that is added to your monthly payments. The fee is not a flat rate and is personalized based on factors such as your credit profile, monthly obligations, and your landlord's preferred payment method. You can use the calculator on the page to see your estimated monthly cost, including the service fee, before you apply.
Can Rently also cover my security deposit?
Yes, covering the security deposit is an optional feature you can select when filling in your application. If you choose this option, Rently pays the deposit directly to your landlord alongside the annual rent. The deposit amount is then spread across your monthly payments. At the end of your tenancy, your landlord returns the full security deposit to you directly, subject to the terms of your lease.
Is Rently available across all emirates in the UAE?
Rently is currently available in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, and Ras Al Khaimah. The service works with any residential property from any landlord, agent, or listing platform across these emirates. You are not restricted to a specific marketplace or agency, which means you can use Rently for any apartment or home you find on your own.
