Who Can Use a Rently Payment Plan

Rently is available to residents in the UAE with a valid working visa or invitation to work. Applications are subject to review based on provided details.

Valid emirates ID and residency visa
Salaried employee or self-employed with verifiable income
Good credit standing and no major defaults or active bankruptcy

How it works?

Estimate your monthly rent

Enter your estimated rent, deposit (if included), and number of cheques.

It’s okay to estimate slightly higher. If approved, any amount below this estimate will also be eligible.

Upload documents for approval

(5 min)

Upload the required documents so we can review and approve your application.

You’ll need to provide proof of income, your Emirates ID, and a credit report (from AECB) so we can assess your eligibility.

Submit documents for contract

Once approved, submit the required documents to prepare the tenancy contract and payment setup.

This may include a draft tenancy agreement or Ejari, the landlord’s bank details, the agent’s contact number if applicable, and the landlord’s payment schedule.

First payment & landlord payout

How does Rently's rent payment plan actually work?

Rently pays your landlord the full annual rent upfront, covering whichever cheque arrangement your lease requires. You then repay Rently in 12 monthly payments that include a small service fee. The process is handled entirely online, from submitting your details to signing your contract digitally, so there is no need for physical paperwork or branch visits.

Will my landlord receive their full rent payment?

Yes. Your landlord receives the complete annual rent amount upfront, paid by Rently directly, with no deductions. Rently supports the number of cheques your lease specifies, so your landlord's preferred payment arrangement is fully respected. From the landlord's perspective, the transaction is straightforward and complete before you move in.

How is the service fee calculated and is it transparent?

Rently's service fee is personalised based on your individual application details and is not a fixed flat rate. You can use the calculator on the Rently website to see an estimated monthly payment before you commit to anything. The fee is included in your monthly payment so you always know the full amount you owe each month with no hidden charges.

Can Rently also cover my security deposit?

Yes, covering the security deposit is an optional add-on you can select during your application. If you choose this option, Rently pays the deposit directly to your landlord alongside the rent. The deposit cost is then spread across your monthly payments. At the end of your lease, your landlord returns the full deposit to you directly, subject to the terms of your tenancy agreement.

Is this rent payment plan available across the UAE?

Rently currently operates in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, making it available to tenants across the UAE's two largest rental markets.
