Rently is available to UAE residents with a valid working visa and a regular source of income, subject to review of your profile and lease details.

Submit documents for contract

Once approved, submit the required documents to prepare the tenancy contract and payment setup.

This may include a draft tenancy agreement or Ejari, the landlord’s bank details, the agent’s contact number if applicable, and the landlord’s payment schedule.

How does paying rent with a credit card work through Rently?

Rently operates as a Rent Now, Pay Later service. Once your application is approved, Rently pays your landlord the full annual rent upfront in the number of cheques your landlord requires. You then repay Rently in 12 monthly payments using your Visa, Mastercard, or American Express credit or debit card. A service fee is included in your monthly payments and is shown clearly before you sign anything.

Does my landlord need to accept card payments directly?

No. Your landlord does not need to accept credit card payments at all. Rently pays your landlord through a direct bank transfer or post-dated cheques, exactly as the lease agreement requires. The credit card payment happens between you and Rently only, which means any landlord or property in Dubai or Abu Dhabi can be covered regardless of their preferred payment method.

Can I earn credit card rewards on my rent payments?

Yes. Because your monthly payments to Rently are made via your personal credit card, each payment may qualify for points, miles, or cashback depending on your card's rewards programme. This means your rent, which is typically your largest monthly expense, can work towards your card benefits just like any other purchase. Check with your card provider for specific rewards terms.

Can Rently also cover my security deposit?

Yes, security deposit coverage is an optional add-on available during the application process. If you select this option, Rently pays the security deposit directly to your landlord alongside the annual rent. The deposit amount is then spread across your monthly payments. At the end of your tenancy, your landlord returns the full deposit to you directly, as per your lease agreement.

What do I need to be eligible for Rently in the UAE?

To be considered for Rently's service, you need a valid working visa or an invitation to work in the UAE, along with a regular source of income. You will also need to provide proof of income, a credit report from the AECB, and a valid Emirates ID for identity verification. All applications are reviewed individually and approval is subject to assessment of your profile and lease details.
