Rently is open to UAE residents with a valid working visa or invitation to work. Applications are reviewed based on the details you provide and are subject to approval.

How does Rently convert my annual rent to monthly payments?

When you apply with Rently, you share your lease details including your annual rent amount and move-in date. Rently reviews your application and, once approved, pays your landlord the full annual rent upfront in the number of cheques your landlord requires. You then repay Rently in 12 monthly payments, which include a service fee. This means your landlord receives certainty while you enjoy predictable monthly costs.

Will my landlord still receive the full annual rent upfront?

Yes. Rently pays your landlord the full annual rent amount directly, using whichever cheque arrangement your landlord prefers, whether that is one cheque or multiple. Your landlord receives the entire amount without any deduction. The service fee is added to your monthly repayments to Rently separately, so neither you nor your landlord has to renegotiate the agreed rent.

What is the service fee and how is it calculated?

Rently charges a service fee on top of your monthly payments. The fee is personalized to your application and is based on factors such as your credit history, monthly financial obligations, and your landlord's preferred payment method. You can use the calculator on the Rently website to see an estimated monthly cost including the service fee before you commit to anything. There are no hidden charges.

Can Rently also cover my security deposit in Dubai?

Yes, this is an optional feature. When completing your application, you can choose to have Rently cover your security deposit as well. Rently pays the deposit directly to your landlord alongside the rent, and the cost is spread across your monthly payments. At the end of your tenancy, your landlord returns the full deposit to you directly, in line with the terms of your lease agreement.

What do I need to be eligible to use Rently in Dubai?

You need a valid working visa or an invitation to work in the UAE. Rently will also review your proof of income, a credit report from the AECB, and your Emirates ID for identity verification. Eligibility is assessed individually, and a personalized quote is provided based on the details you submit. Pre-approval is also available if you have not yet found a property but want to be ready to move quickly.
